Hittin’ for Hooters & Duders Rundown

Are you ready to step up to the plate and make a difference, but don’t know where to start? Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or a community supporter, here’s the rundown:

What Is Hittin’ for Hooters & Duders?

Hittin’ for Hooters & Duders (H4HD) is a community-driven fundraiser designed to bring people together through a shared love of sports and charity. The event features a softball tournament where teams compete in a fun environment with the goal to build community, have fun, and raise funds for Manitoba cancer charities.

Why Support Hittin’ for Hooters & Duders?

Supporting H4HD means contributing to the fight to get cancer out. 100% of the funds raised by the registered teams goes directly to Manitoba nonprofit organizations, such as the Canadian Cancer Society and CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

By taking part in H4HD and our volunteer-run events, you throw cancer a curve ball and help the on-going battle to score a strike out.

How to Participate

Getting involved in Hittin’ for Hooters & Duders is easy and rewarding. Here are some ways you can join us on the field:

Form or Join a Team
Gather friends, family, or coworkers to create a softball team. Teams usually consist of 10-12 players, and the event welcomes players of all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a absolute beginner, the focus is on fun and community.

Volunteer
If playing slo-pitch isn’t your thing, volunteering is a great way to contribute! Volunteers help with event setup, registration, scorekeeping, food service, and more. It’s a chance to meet new people and support the cause behind the scenes.

Sponsor or Donate
Local businesses and individuals can sponsor teams or donate directly to the fundraiser. Sponsorships often include promotional opportunities during the event, such as banners or shout-outs. Donations help cover event costs and increase the amount raised for charity.

Attend as a Spectator
Even if you don’t play or volunteer, come out to cheer on the teams and enjoy the festivities! Good people, good music, and family-friendly activities make it a great day out for everyone.
